Developing a sensor and AI-powered digital care companion device for senior living and home care environments.

Proof of Concept – Rapid functional prototypes constructed using development boards and off-the-shelf components, with enclosures fabricated via 3D printing and laser-cut acrylic. Over 100 units were assembled and deployed in real-user environments to gather field data for system validation.
Engineering Prototype – We transitioned from early-stage prototyping to over 200 engineering units, integrating custom PCBAs and 3D-printed enclosures. These were distributed to user homes for environmental and usability testing.
Pre-Production – Led the development of production-ready prototypes with finalized mechanical and electrical designs. Conducted rigorous mechanical tests, refined enclosure and assembly details, and collaborated closely with overseas manufacturing partners to ensure DFM/DFA alignment and production feasibility.
